There was not substantial content shared, not enough walking area covered. In It felt like as if it was a way to extort money from tourists. In contrast, Free walking tours are exceptional.
I hate giving bad ratings, but I am blown away by how bad this tour truly way. The tour guide was a really sweet guy, don’t get me wrong, I feel bad saying just how bad the tour way, but he clearly didn’t know much on the subject. For starters, there were no introductions, I walked away not even knowing the man’s name. I was hardly sure he was even the tour guide had it not been for the logo on the shirt. He fumbled through the entire tour, struggling to speak and could barely answer any questions. His demeanor was so awkward, I felt uncomfortable just being there. I am not sure if it was just high anxiety or a near complete lack of understanding about the local aboriginal cultures (or some combination of the two), but the tour can be described as uninspired at best. I walked away feeling more confused and shocked by bad it was, than anything else. To boot, the tour ticket price was supposed to include entry to the Koorie Heritage Trust and we never even got to go in
It wasn't really a walking tour but rather a cultural hands-on activity, hearing how indigenous people hunted and foraged, looking at weapons and so on. It was really interesting and the guide was super enthusiastic and knowledgeable, answering questions and engaging with the group. Valuable insight to the history and culture of our environment.
Nothing the presenter was amazing
